Hello, Iām Riss, the newest addition to the OVCMTs in-reach supervisor team!
I moved here to Vernon back in 2021 to attend the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy and pursue my career in the health and wellness industry. I have been working as an RMT at a local clinic, Impact sports and health clinic for the past 2.5 years since graduation.
Growing up, I was invested in many sports; including figure skating, wrestling and rugby. Once graduated from high school, i switched gears and started my journey to compete as a body builder, now attending the gym 3-5 days a week along with hiking and playing softball.
I look forward to taking on this roll as a supervisor with OVCMT. I hope to learn new skills and share mine with the students!
